This is far from being a first for Redmond firm that in its fight against piracy just landed the USA a series of complaints. In the line of sight, a score of dealers whose illegal activity was revealed in broad daylight by programs Windows Genuine Advantage and Office Genuine Advantage. These well-known utilities have indeed enabled many users find that copies of Windows and Office in their machines were not authentic.

Among the accused, some had already been in trouble with Microsoft for similar facts sometimes with mutual agreements that had been identified. Apparently the lesson has not been accepted.

Windows Vista too well protected or so ...

In its statement, Microsoft advance in 2007, 20% of the outstanding PC in USA has pirated software, with a real risk for end-user who cannot qualify for example, support or Microsoft updates.

Microsoft also lists dealers placed in the dock, in each case with software that has been the subject of piracy. There are various elements of the office suite Office, the 2007 version and the Windows XP operating system. By cons, no trace of Windows Vista, released at the same time as Office 2007...
