The Redmond company continues to remain silent on the period of release of SP1 for Windows 7. Officially, we only know that this service pack will bring new features on virtualization. It should also provide an update of Remote Desktop client (remote access) to take advantage of Microsoft RemoteFX. 
Otherwise, we would find updates classified as minor, including all those who have been issued since the release of Windows 7 in October 2009 via Windows Update. Nothing very interesting so for individuals.
This lack of interest did not stop the famous SP1 made its appearance on the canvas. It is a version dated March 27, 2010, bringing the number 6.1.7601.16537.amd64fre.win7.100327-0053.
According to the site GeekSMACK who installed the SP1, it seems that installing the service pack is extremely fast compared for example to different service packs for Windows Vista.
