VLC 1.0 Release Candidate 3 is available

Before and after making any changes to your system or installing any software including Seven Transformation Pack, we strongly recommend you check Windows for registry errors.

A new Release Candidate is available for the VLC media player. This RC3 corrects a number of problems, especially under Mac OS X. Here is the list of major changes:

  • Repair VLC for Mac PowerPC
  • Update translations
  • Multiple fixes for Mac OS X
  • Several corrections for certain formats, including SCT20
  • Repair of language bindings for python
  • Various other fixes

Note that version 1.0.1 should follow shortly after, depending on the number of problems which have been reported

It will not wait very long before the final version. Moreover, it should provide support for the E-AC3 and Spectral SV8, which is not the case with the current RC3, You can download VLC Player RC 3 from here.
