ViStart 7 is released on Lee-Soft.com and 7TP 4.0 ETA...
  

Today Lee has finally released his specialised release of ViStart for Windows 7 version-like. Most of the codes in this release were re-written for optimal performance and stability. I hope this release can be pain-killer for old ViStart for time being. However, since this release was built without my acknowledgement, this won't be official ViStart 7 branch for Seven Transformation Pack but Lee's great fortune release. So, new skin you can find in this release doesn't belong to me and I think I was right to hold my resources before finishing Seven Transformation Pack 4.0.

You can download Lee's ViStart 7 release from his forum. Seven Transformation Pack 4.0 will be released on 28th November 2009 regardless of Lee's software activities and his personal life. If I knew this would happen, I would have forced him to finish it ignoring his university works instead of giving him time to mature ViStart by holding Seven Transformation Pack 4.0 release.

I want to add a Libraries folder to taskbar

I found that my folders icon on the taskbar in pack 4 is a computer icon versus a file folder icon. I am looking for a way to change this icon in order to make a libraries folder that I can pin down on the task bar just like a win7 taskbar.

Start Menu Changes style in Pack 4

I have found that my start changes when using my computer. It changes from the 7win style start menu to a start menu that uses icons in the description and the "start search" tab disappears. I am not sure if a patch has been developed or if this a problem in how I installed the pack 4.

Ok. Its fabulous and actually stable BUT and I do say BUT the shutdown problems are real!!! So fix that and heres another bug that Ive dicovered!!! If you use the win+alt for flipping windows and let the alt button go, for some FUNNY reason ViStart stops working!!! whats sux is that it doesnt terminate the process, it just goes back to the normal xp start menu!!! BUT apart from these bugs BRAVO!!! Bill Gates is so gonna hate u for this but WE WILL LOVE YOU!!! Get cracking on those bugs...

In the mean TIME, my Wish is to have again the option in 7TP to use the third party apps "Lclock.exe" and "styler.exe" I prefer this to "Seven clock" and "ViSplore" but that is just my personal opinion/wish (also I believe Lclock and Styler are very lite and haven't change for a couple of year and they are still stable or work without problems in my WinXP.

Concerning ViStart's development and 7TP 4.0 release plan, I originally intended to release it on 13th November 2009 but Lee said he had works to finish on 11th November so we decided to ship our releases to later time after he can take time polishing his work to degree I can accept. However, he went to release on his own with some ideas he put in his release instead of working for his university works wholeheartly, making my release delay effort become waste and you guys gotta wait more as I have to correct mess he created in his recent release. Worse thing is he tries to avoid me now and I can't correct ViStart as I planned. I may take whatever he has on site and put it if this keeps on.

wilcox, you can try startup faster.

Vistart7 3685 still have issues with Viglance 1194.
In my dream Viglance will be update before 7tp v4 but guess we will have to wait until next year.
In the mean TIME, I have a big BIG B I G request for you, I think the new feature in 7TP "vlaunch.exe" it is awesome, more over because WinXP have no good solution to do something like "vlaunch.exe" (almost because I don't know how to program "vbs runtime" or what ever you use to program "vlaunch.exe". and we can only control what is launch by "vlaunch.exe" in the 7TP option. So my request is because I still use from VTP the "Lclock.exe" and the "Styler.exe" which it will awesome if you can add some option or something to also control the start up of this Third software to make 7TP more personal.
