After a preliminary version (Developer Preview), Microsoft will offer towards the end of February a beta version of its Windows operating system 8. It will be an opportunity to discover the App Store Windows Store. Of free and commercial applications with a beautiful hand made style Metro. That there will be no Metro with Windows 8 and Windows Explorer of the past will benefit from improvements including a ribbon interface. Improvement is not necessarily experienced as such by all. Microsoft has taken note of feedback and will make some changes. However, no question of a line on the ribbon. This interface will be maintained but minimized by default. In addition, information on keyboard shortcuts to access the various features will be included in tooltips (tooltips). With the beta of Windows 8, it will be possible to pinpoint just folders in the Start Screen. The configuration settings of the Explorer will be considered in addition to the synchronization options SkyDrive Note for the explorer bug fix so far with Windows 7 (see this video). When a folder with many subfolders is selected (click) for the first time (with display of the content on the right), the deployment of the tree on the left is not the desired behavior for the elevator pad. With the bug fix, the file is displayed at the top of the Explorer window (left panel). Other small changes to the file management are detailed in a blog post on the Windows Building 8. Also make sure you read this article to know how to install Windows 8.
