Windows 8 Shows Signs of Growth

Microsoft’s Windows 8 may be the smallest player in the OS competition but you can’t count it off just yet. If last year, Windows 8 has not even recorded a single percentage in total sales of the global tablet OS, this year is different for the Microsoft product. Based on the Global Tablet OS Market Share: Q1 2013 report by Strategy Analytics, there are at least three million (7.4%) Windows 8 tablets sold in the first quarter of this year. Apple iOS remains as the number one brand, followed by Android and Windows.

It’s been a few months since Windows 8 officially gone live. I couldn’t believe it myself that I failed to notice in sounds scheme changes in Windows 8 after days of 6.5 release so I waited for a while to have more updates to push in one go. Nokia Lumia 720 and Nokia Lumia 520 Announced at MWC

Nokia Lumia 720 has a 4.3 inch screen, 6.7 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, 1.3 megapixel front, 8 gigabytes of internal memory expandable via microSD, 512 megabytes of RAM and 2000 mAh battery. Lumia 720 distribution will start in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore and then it will be extended to the rest of the world.

Patch Tuesday of February has 12 updates and fixes 57 flaws

Microsoft will deploy its traditional security update monthly. For its Patch Tuesday, the company proposes to address 57 vulnerabilities via the deployment of 12 security patches.
