Welcome center is going to Trojan.
Reply #50 on : Sun July 24, 2011, 19:51:03
Hi, there.
Today, I found Welcome center (viwc.exe) was quarantined by TR/Agent.zva Trojan.

So, I can't use the welcome center.
Plz. Check it.

Integrating Win 7 transformation pack files to Windows setup files isn't working.
Reply #40 on : Wed May 25, 2011, 18:38:06
Maybe the Windows setup files need to be on a recordable disk? Problem is I don't have any of those right now. Unchecking "read-only" in the Properties window didn't help. Access is denied.

Two Icons at Once in Taskbar
Reply #34 on : Wed May 18, 2011, 19:39:59
The same thing is happening to me as what is happening to @rasheedo . There aare two icons whenever a window is up. The top one is the regular Windows 7 big icon and the bottom layer is a smaller, off-center icon.

Go to the links below to see the picture:

A newer version of ViGlance is available.
Reply #32 on : Wed May 11, 2011, 03:36:52
A newer version of ViGlance [1276] fixes the problem with the taskbar icons being too small. I discovered this after trying to fix some bugs with the transformation pack. Give it a shot.

You mean setting it as the default file manager? Because I occasionally get error messages whenever I open certain directories like the C drive or the "My Computer" directory.

Taskbar icon problem partially resolved.
Reply #29 on : Sat May 07, 2011, 03:34:04
After making that change to the MinWidth in the registry and rebooting the VM, I can now see the taskbar buttons. Only problem now is the icons within those buttons aren't the same size as in the picture above. What can I do to fix *this?*

@droid0196,
You have to restart Windows after you change MinWidth to 56 in regedit.

I don't think it's a problem with *just* the 64-bit versions. Both my virtual XP machines are 32-bit versions, and I'm having the same problem with the taskbar buttons as you're having. I tried that registry setting, and it didn't do anything, so I reverted the changes.

Add Aero peek.
Reply #23 on : Wed April 27, 2011, 22:27:59
You know how Windows 7 has the Aero peek feature where you mouse over to the button furthest to the right of the taskbar, and you click the button to show the desktop? That should be added.

Skinny, and small taskbar buttons
Reply #19 on : Sun April 24, 2011, 15:10:22
Unlike the picture above, my open window icons on the taskbar are very skinny, and the icons aren't large like in the picture. I had to go into regedit and change the MinWidth to 56. Is this just a problem with 64 bit verions of Windows? Also, when my icons group, it doesn't let me navigate through them very easily.

You can install with performance to avoid sacrificing system performance while retaining Windows 7 UI experiences.

To uninstall, use "Remove Seven Transformation Pack" in Welcome Center.
