The localization support is taking longer than I expected. I've done over hundreds of copy/paste all around the system up until now. My hands feel hurt now and I think I can't keep on with it tonight so I'll rest for a while and come back to finish it and release on tomorrow.

It's about one week left for the release of Seven Transformation Pack 4.0. Right now the product itself is finished besides ViStart and ViGlance that need some works to be done if possible. If there's anything you wish for besides above projects, make a note here and I'll try to work on it if possible. Today Lee has finally released his specialised release of ViStart for Windows 7 version-like. Most of the codes in this release were re-written for optimal performance and stability. I hope this release can be pain-killer for old ViStart for time being. However, since this release was built without my acknowledgement, this won't be official ViStart 7 branch for Seven Transformation Pack but Lee's great fortune release. So, new skin you can find in this release doesn't belong to me and I think I was right to hold my resources before finishing Seven Transformation Pack 4.0.

Alright, the waiting is over. While Apple fanboy is carving for new iPods, I'm here to give you the one of hella release that should keep remembering for Seven Transformation Pack. Thanks to Windows 7 going RTM'ed, I can fully explore its resources without worrying about going to update again and again. So I take this time out for all I can do with this. This version contains over 50 lines of changelog, 3 new features that keep this version a lot cooler and major updates in UI.

I know some people may feel disappointed in small updates in version 2.0 which is more like 1.5 or 1.1 release. Well, let me explain about this so called small update. I'm not gonna rant, though. First of all I was busy in developing new features in ViGlance with Lee (yea, live thumbnail ones and pinning) which consumed most of the time in testing and filing issues to be resolved and how we should implement those features. Besides ViGlance, I was investigating in Vista support for Seven Transformation Pack and this research took me long enough to pull out with Windows XP/2003 compatibilities in safe way. I saw enough examples of separated packs and how it failed to approach users already. Why did I mention this? Because version 3.0 will use research I made during developing 2.0 for very very big update. You'll see the finest creation I've ever made with next release that could be the most stable and far richer in user interface improvements. It'll also rock in Windows Vista world too so keep in touch on 9th September 2009 ;) If you want to cut out my ranting and get straight to the point then just get the latest version and read the changelog file. This post is about to describe in a useless and pointless fashion the bug fixes done to ViGlance. C'mon, these posts are getting boring these days...

Well, it's finally here. Although Windows 7 RTM is coming near. However, I don't think waiting for Windows 7 RTM to be released first wouldn't be wise enough because there may be tons of changes and need another long delay again. This version is pretty much simple for bug fixes and some in-house updates like ViGlance. But why 2.0 instead of 1.0.1 or 1.1? Because there're some special updates in this release and it's just only beginning for me (though some people may aware of this and get bored already). Well my university exams are finally finished. I have a long 4 month holiday(vacation) now. So I can play OutRun on my Xbox 360.. I mean so I can tell you about the features I have been developing in ViGlance. I have been getting more data about the blank taskbar bug that some users appear to be having. I can confirm that this doesn't just happen at start-up. All XP users are affected by this bug. Very rarely it may occur when you simply open the ViGlance executable.

I've been thinking about Windows 7 transformation pack since pre-betas. However, I've been observing Windows 7 since pre-beta builds. I must admit that it didn't interest me that much for slightly UI changes and very few icons update. If I rush for first released packs, it'll be spammed with insignificant changes from real OS plus bloated stuff from prototype screenshots and become obsolete in no time. After waiting patiently for months, this moment is when it should exist.

It's been a few weeks since announcement of "Seven Transformation Pack". I and Lee have been working on next level of "ViOrb" as replicate of Windows 7 taskbar called "Superbar". We made tons of progress and expect to see whole pack released soon. The name of this project isn't decided yet since ViBar is too shady. It would be nice if you can help me deciding good ones. Since yesterday, I've been maintaining Windows X's Live for optimal performance and better view result. Unfortunately, Some script errors from advertisement banner caused website to display incorrectly. I fixed the issue yesterday and tried testing website and found another issue about friendly URL that caused blank ID with MODx system. I've just fixed this bug few minutes ago so you can now use links in tags, archived news, and categories without any problem now. I also improved website UI for cleaner view with new main graphics for upcoming Windows 7 works. Regards,

The long awaited transformation pack is coming soon. Although it's not complete yet the progress here worths a shot for you guys. I'm attaching 2 screenshots showing new logon featuring multiple user account support (it sucks for showing long listed accounts at the bottom since we don't have large user picture) and desktop screen showing Lee and I's latest project about SuperBar emulation. We plan to update ViStart and ViSplore too but I'm not sure if we can put them in first release or not. Many people asked me in JCXP forum if there will be any transformation pack for Windows 7 and my answer was "yes". Still, due to my absent caused by real life business like university stuff, I can't really reply such email, checking forum, online messenger, etc. as often as before. I'm hereby to show my progress for Windows 7 project. Now we have theme for visual style, WindowBlinds, TrueTransparency, ViStart, ViOrb and ViSplore. Bug fixes and updates in Lee's projects and my stuff in VTP such as logon, battery icon glitches. I hope all you guys are enjoying your holidays with your family. :) P.S. Lee is going to update his Vi products soon before starting something revolutionizing!!! :D After announcement of 9.0, ViSplore's unstability and bugs in ViOrb cause trouble everywhere. Since it's the first beta build so we couldn't help much but sigh... Version 9.0.1 will solve incompatibilities with Windows XP Service Pack 3, stability issues in installation and some fixes in the system and some 3rd-party applications.
