After playing around with Windows 8 Developer Preview build 8102 in VirtualBox and explore system files for new resources, I can finally grasp the ideas of how I should update Windows 8 UI properly. To be honest, I don't really like the idea of having plain green logon background at all so checking system files helped me a lot to decide proper resources. I must apologize to all Mac OS X fans for delaying Lion projects again but the poll vote has very high momentum and new Windows 8 is just out with lots of updates so please wait for little longer until I can fully concentrate in Lion projects in next month.

As some of audiophile ears may already be aware of, audiophile/extremist level in version 2.0 is actually sounding worse than previous version. It happened because of my misconceptions about multi-core optimizations. I thought it should better better for important audio services to have its own core. Now I realized that MMCSS handles audio in processor cores separately already so corresponded services should have higest possible utilization instead. I also fixed possible bugs with process optimzations about wrong conditional check so it should work properly now.

It's been a long time since last formidable release of Seven Transformation Pack. There isn't much we can do but wait patiently for something better to inspire us to work harder and do better. Now it's time to make new standards of the world's best Windows transformation packs....."Windows 8 Transformation Pack". It comes with self Metro configurator UI that can make everything done in one step, works on all editions of Windows XP/Vista/7, includes the latest Windows 8 features and themes with finest selection. Now you can uninstall Seven Transformation Pack and grab something better.

Windows 8 Transformation Pack 1.0 is coming next week, and here are some screenshots from the latest 8TP RC build. Windows 8 Transformation Pack will support Windows 7/Vista/XP x86 and x64. This is a long awaited request for XP users, who we haven’t forgotten them. We just had to wait for proper resources as we mainly focus on quality in our products. Be ready to transform your PC to Windows 8 :)

First of all, I'm truely sorry you all guys. Windows 7 Service Pack 1 has been released for whole 6 months already yet I completely forget about updating UXTheme Multi-Patcher at all. Even now I still don't understand how could I forget this until recently that I tried to use patcher version 7.1 in Windows 7 SP1 x64 and found that this freakin out-dated app doesn't allow me to proceed......Busted. So I implemented Rafael's latest UXStyle memory patching engine that used in Windows 8 UX Pack into this right away and of course with his permission.

This version comes with updated Windows 8 build 7989 and Metro inspired UI themes so you can choose which one is your favourite. I also updated new official M3 wallpaper and add more stunning Windows 8 features like Metro UI Desktop emulation (Mosaic) and Aero auto-colorization (Aura). Windows 8 is getting real close to Beta now so this could probably be the last release before merging into main Seven Transformation Pack to be different product. I'll also update Seven Transformation Pack soon before moving on to new platform too.

It's been a while since last release and I finally foundout why sound quality gets deteriorated after using Audiophile/Extremist level. I normally ditched explorer.exe so I didn't notice that running audiophile player from normal system will have explorer.exe as caller. Since caller's priority is at lowest, called application will not run at priority higher than its caller. Now this issue is resolved and your application will run smoothly with crystal clear dynamic.

Windows 8 UX Pack will improve Windows 7's user experiences based on recent Windows 8 resources. It will install themes and applications that help making your system resembles Windows 8 without modifying system files at all. After future of transformation packs' announcement, this is the first product that follows this design concepts. It works on Windows 7 only at the moment but future transformation packs will work on XP/Vista too in future. For now it'll be testing project to see if you'll like this better.

After 1.5 release, I realized afew issues that involves my previous projects as well. Users need to use right-click and choose "Run as administrator" everytime they want to use Fidelizer on machine with UAC turned on. I usually turned it off so I didn't spot this issue enough to find method to fix this. Leading to Welcome Center's screwed up uninstallation and such with UAC. Now I fixed program to ask for administrator rights before execution and enhanced something for Windows XP too. After releasing Seven Transformation Pack 5.1, I've been constantly thinking and developing new design goals for better use in today's trend. Since Longhorn Transformation Pack, core design and user experiences are mainly for poweruser at that era who want fully customizable, rich features and professional.

Finally, I can feel this project becoming matured and completed so I can move on to next project. Though not many people use it but playing around computer as audiophile was one of my favourite hobbies so I can't help it. This version now supports Windows XP (to the extent I can do) and works properly with 64-bit platform to control native 64-bit processes. Very highly recommended!

After long observation and investigation, most reported bugs are resolved. Shutdown dialog bugs took considerable amount of times because you need to have updates ready to install and the cause is quite unexpected. Anyway, polished release is finally here.

Since the development of transformation packs, I barely have time to work on new projects nor I have such interests to start one. It's about 5 years after my last project besides transformation packs so today I'd like to publish a new small project related to my hobby. It's something that can turn your odinary Windows to amazing computer that makes music sound a lot better and it doesn't mess up your Windows after restart. If you love good music and know what WASAPI is good for, you can't miss to try this.
