MSN Web Messenger stops today: go to Hotmail!

For many years now, Microsoft offers a Web version of its instant messaging client: MSN Web Messenger. Practice especially for those who want to connect from work (if not blocked by the network administrator), it is however at the end of life and cease to function during the day.

This is not the complete Internet customer since Microsoft already has for several months another version, completely integrated with the latest version of Hotmail. Since all the accounts have been migrated to the latter, the client is fully accessible. It is located on the top right of the main screen.

The Web version is obviously basic, and can only send and receive messages with the classic series of emoticons. However, it still takes over one of the innovations introduced with the 2009 version of Windows Live Messenger: the connection from multiple machines. When you launch the Web Messenger, and it counts as an extra and do not disconnect other machines if Live Messenger is launched. It is possible to automatically connect to open Hotmail.
