The taskbar where the start button is not doomed to stay at the bottom of the screen. You can easily put on one of the other three sides. 1. Click the right mouse button on a blank area of the taskbar. In the menu that appears, uncheck Lock the Taskbar. 2. Hold the mouse button down and drag the taskbar to one of three sides of the screen. 3. When the bar is moved to the desired location, release the mouse button. 4. You can lock again taskbar to avoid inadvertently move by clicking with the right mouse button and checking the option Lock the Taskbar.
