According to Net Applications, Google Chrome market share was 2.84% in August 2009 for a browser finally aged only one year. Head of engineering at Google Chrome, Linus Upson told Reuters that if the second anniversary of the browser market share was less than at least 5%, it would be extremely disappointed. A disappointment even if the third anniversary of that market share is at least 10%. Internally, the stated objectives would be even more aggressive than just doubling annual pdm. This aggression is felt with an agreement on pre-installation that was recently signed with Sony for some PCs, while discussions are underway with other computer manufacturers whose name is kept secret. In the shade, is an operating system OS that Chrome is preparing to stand with Google Chrome. This week, Google posted a final version 3.0 of Google Chrome that has made several improvements but no major new features. The browser is currently only dedicated to the Windows environment, but accelerating the work for version 4.0 of Google Chrome which is also offered in Mac OS X and GNU / Linux, plus the appearance of extensions.
