Less than a year after the launch of PowerDVD 8, which had made only a few new things at the interface and tools to create collections of films and remixing some video files, Cyberlink PowerDVD 9 announcement.

This new version incorporates the interface of its predecessor, but also improvements in the display engine.

Thus, a system for optimizing the image quality is available for HD video, and it will be possible to change the number of frames per second or the resolution of the film to suit the best on-screen with new algorithms.

Side navigation, the editor seems to have finally decided to adapt it to a display on a television screen offering options directly at main window, without having to go through a tiny menu.

Finally, Cyberlink announces support for the AVCHD format, AVCREC, MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), MPEG-2 HD and WMV-HD, the HDMI 1.3, the possibility of using the video driver in Windows Media Player and promises that the display of Blu-Ray will be more fluid on small machines.

As always, this new version will cost between $ 49.95 and $ 99.95 depending on the version, the most expensive course is the only one able to read Blu-Ray.

As a reminder, WinDVD 9 and Total Media Theater ArcSoft and Corel are they available now $ 79.99 and $ 69.99 in the worst case.
